This is a long and quite wide beach, fairly sparsely facilitated with bars and restaurants. The area around Forty Thieves Beach Bar is a good spot for a swim and an afternoon spent relaxing beside the sea.
The tide goes out quite far here, making swimming at low tide quite difficult. Ask the locals when the best time is to swim if that’s what you’re here primarily to do.
Bring a hat, sunscreen and water. There is very little shade on this beach.
