|To get to these Swahili ruins, a boda-boda from Tuskys Supermarket (Kilifi) shouldn’t cost you any more than KES100 for two passengers.|
|Unlike the ruins at Gedi National Monument, the Mnarani National Monument entrance ticket generously also includes the Mnarani Snake Park at the bottom of the 104-step entrance. You can decide for yourself as to why they’ve decided to include the two here.|
|Don’t expect too much from these ruins (although some of the inscriptions are well preserved). Do, however, keep an eye out for the very impressive and ancient baobab trees dotted about the grounds of the ruin.|
