The Directions

Follow Boyes Drive out of for about half a kilometre beyond towards the cape. You should see a small parking area next a shark spotter. If you’re at the right place, there should be Table Mountain National Park sign for Bailey’s Kloof at the start of the trailhead on the opposite side of the road.

Follow this trail all the way up the side of St James’s peak. The trail should be obvious and shouldn’t take much longer than 40 minutes to the summit. There’s only one place where you could get lost and that’s near to the top when the path continues on or heads right. To get to the viewpoint, you’ll want to follow the path right around and up the front of the peak. Return the way you came, or continue on to the !
