Muizenberg Self-Catering Flatlet is a prime spot for those planning a longer stay in Cape Town. Within a short walk, you can be enjoying the likes of Muizenberg Beach, the Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve or even hiking up to the excellent views afforded by the Muizenberg Peak Viewpoint. The flat itself is very private and well facilitated and the owners Yvonne and Brian extremely friendly and relaxed. The building is definitely old and some of the features a little worn out, but if you don’t mind the odd squeaky tap or creaky floorboard, you’ll find yourself settling in as if it were your own.
Top Tips
The cold tap in the kitchen is extremely noisy! Turn it on full to lessen the irritation or use the hot tap on low (which should take at least a few moments to heat up).
The shower has a tendency to spray everywhere, especially if you’re tall. Consider sitting in the bath to shower, or better yet just have a bath ;).
Be prepared to take full advantage of the braai in your own private garden.
