Top Descriptions

Port Elizabeth, or PE as it’s more commonly known, might not have the beauty or the wilderness of other locations along the Eastern Cape, but it is one of the most welcoming cities in the region. While most travellers simply pass through the city en route to more exciting locations, those that linger for a few days are able to enjoy a solid arts and culture scene, some interesting museums, and decent enough international dining options. As with many cities in , however, Port Elizabeth is not without its obvious wealth inequalities, and first timers to the city would do well to be extra cautious in quiet public spaces such as the in the early hours of the morning. – Daniel
