Top Descriptions

If you’re lucky, you’ll see some wildlife in this park – particularly bontebok – but if you come here primarily for the wildlife you may be disappointed. The mountainous backdrop is certainly a draw, as is the ability to hike inside the park, and the beside the Breede River is very pleasant indeed. – Daniel

Top Tips

Consider doing some , but if you do so keep an eye out for snakes. We saw a Cape Cobra on the so you might want to consider wearing boots and trousers.
The is a lovely spot to while away a few hours both in and beside the river.
