If you’ve written a description for Biharwe Eclipse Monument you’d like to share with the community, send it to [email protected] and we’ll post it right here in the directory.
You’ll need to stop by at the Igongo Museum first to purchase your ticket, which includes an optional (and completely unnecessary) guide up the hill. The red, blue or yellow rocks should, however, guide you just fine.
The track leading to the monument is to the left of the SCA Renweable Energy Centre opposite the Igongo Cultural Centre. You might be able to sneak down the track and up to the monument without paying, should you be that way inclined.
To get to the Igongo Cultural Centre, a boda-boda from Mbarara shouldn’t cost any more than UGX15,000 return (including waiting time).
