This is a fairly well organised and clean medical checkup facility that is authorised for immigration purposes. Some of the facilities are a bit dated, and the complex itself is a bit of a maze, but an efficient enough service is provided. – Daniel

Top Tips
Try to come here with a Chinese speaker if you can as it will make the process a lot easier. If you’re here alone and don’t speak the lingo, step 1 is fill out the form and register, step 2 is pay and collect your documents and sticker sheet, and then step three is to head into the maze of medical rooms. Just make sure that you’ve got every aspect of your sheet ticked off before you head back to reception (ECG, ENT, X-Ray, etc).
It’s not permitted to have food or drink for 8 hours before completing your medical as it may interfere with the results. Thankfully, the urine and blood samples are taken first, and then you’re free to eat and drink as you please (bring supplies with you).
The ECG is probably the strangest experience. It might look as if you’re about to be hooked up to a car battery with jumper cables, but don’t be too worried. One clip goes around the ankle, one on the wrist, and then a few suckers are attached to your chest – and no, you won’t be electrocuted!
