Top Descriptions

This is a well organised scenic walk through some of the easier-to-reach tribes that live in and around . Expect to be in a fairly large group, to be provided with lunch towards the end of the tour, and to have to potentially traverse up and down muddy paths.

Top Tips

If it’s been raining lately, which is pretty much guaranteed between January and April, you’ll want to bring sturdy enough shoes and a good sense of balance. The trails can get quite slippery.
While we were told the walk would be 15km, the group size no more than 7, and the amount of villages 3, in reality our group was close to 15 strong, the hike no more than 10km, and there were only 2 villages that we actually visited.
Don’t expect to be shown much in the way of village life in this village tour – it’s more of a casual walk through some gorgeous scenery.
Lunch isn’t particularly generous, so bring some snacks – especially if you don’t like mushrooms!
