Kigali is quite a pleasant city to walk around – though it is rather devoid of attractions. This walk takes in three freebies and covers quite a bit of ground, making it a good starting point for exploration.
Although the hills in Kigali are none too large, they are frequent and walking up and down in the heat can become quite tiring. Bring snacks and sun protection with you.
There aren’t too many places to stop for lunch/dinner along this route. Your best bet would be to eat before setting off from the Gorilla Monument or wait until just before the lake on KG548.
