Top Descriptions

Once a part of the , this waterfall is now a free-to-access area just near the sulphur baths. There is a small bridge, souvenir stand, and a short walking path leading to the waterfall. Though not particularly wide or high, this waterfall is still very pretty and is quite a surprising and pleasant feature to have in a capital city.

Top Descriptions

Tbilisi Old Town is likely one of the loveliest historical centres in the Caucasus and even farther afield. With a range of architecture dating from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, this old town is full of aesthetic character. Colourful, precarious, hip, colonial, neo-classical, dilapidated – these are just some of the ways to describe this town. There is a concentrated touristic area with gardens, museums, and monasteries, as well pedestrianised eating streets and rooftop dining. Combine this with the Georgian hospitality and culture and this becomes an incredibly delightful place to spend a few days.

Top Descriptions

’s Movement Theatre offers contemporary and alternative performances of various stage productions in an intimate and low-key setting. The dome structure appears both inside and out to be made from recycled materials, creating a vibe somewhere between hipster and industrial. Watching something such as a Shakespearian classic accompanied only by music and not words, in such a small space, really is a captivating experience.

Top Descriptions

Located in downtown , Freedom Square is a busy intersection for the flow of local traffic. The architecture around is neo-classical and modern in design, and gives the area a colonial and prosperous sentiment – although this is (arguably) somewhat countered by the shiny gold statue atop the centrepiece pillar.
