|This is the largest reservoir in this part of the national park and it is really quite pretty. As it is situated off the main road, it feels more disconnected and therefore more peaceful than nearby Beacons Reservoir. – Sarah|

|There are some spaces around the shores here to sit with a picnic.|
|Just before walking down to the reservoir there is a van selling hot beverages and possibly snacks. It’s a good place to stop and take a break if you are on the Brecon Beacons Scenic Drive 1.|
|There are no amenities around the lake. The nearest toilets are apparently in the Garwnant Visitor Centre, which is 200m north of the lake.|
