Monguí is famed for being one of the prettiest colonial villages in all of Boyaca, and it isn’t hard to see why. It’s a sleepy but well preserved little place with excellent access to the surrounding countryside. There’s not much going on, but it’s worth visiting from Sogamoso to do the impressive Paramo de Oceta Hike if nothing else. – Daniel
