                                Bath Abbey is, in terms of a historical building, quite lovely. Before entering, a trip around the exterior should satisfy most who take pleasure in sculpture and architecture. Inside, the fan vault above is a wonderful example of this type of medieval/early modern architecture.                                 If you can, arrive before 4pm and try to get on one of the 40 minute tower tours. It cost GBP6, but the views over are well worth it!
                                Don’t forget to take time to admire the exterior of the buidling as well as the interior. The square outside is a popular place for live music and entertainment.
