Top Tips

If you happen to be at Hout Bay and fancy some Chinese Bao, then this might be your spot.
The restaurant is small and the view of the road not particularly enamouring. The restaurant next door has the same owner so you can sit in either side to order.
The bao are more like sandwiches (they are open, instead of being stuffed) and lack precise authenticity – although the duck one is certainly tasty!

Top Tips

Korean Soju Restaurant serves up some pretty authentic and delicious food, but if you’ve lived in South Korea before then you might argue that there’s still something missing here.
The seafood pancake (haemul pajeon) is particularly good here, and the kimbap is quite recommendable too.
As in a lot of expatriate Korean establishments, it’s not common to cook your own food at Korean Soju Restaurant. Be forewarned also that you’ll be wrapping your galbi or samgyeopsal in an iceberg lettuce leaf :(.

Top Tips

Lunch specials here are at a very reasonable ZAR50. For this price, don’t plan for large portions.
If you arrive around midday, the kitchen may not yet really be up and running. You may have to wait some time.

Top Tips

Brad’s is a local institution, and an excellent one at that for very reasonable and well-cooked steaks ;).
As the opening hours are so limited, you might want to book in advance. That is unless you’re happy to have to eat quickly to free up a reserved table.
Expect sides of spinnach and butternut squash to come with your steak.
